Cute as a God-Damned Button

Could this get any cuter?

But i wonder - would it look as cute with her
actually STANDING.

Perhaps. Either way, I love the hair piece,
the vintage bag, the pink shirt and the
oddly patterned shorts.
p.s. it's cold, y'all

Fashion Inspiration

Much Better... Pulled from Sartorialist. The loose fitting clothing has to be done right. Less is more and I love the booties.

Fashion Inspiration

Chantal and I were discussing our own personal style inspirations on Saturday, both of us agreeing on our love of the androgynous, the marriage of historically male and historically female fashion. The image (below) I pulled from Facehunter yesterday seems to be the perfect combination of these two traits. The leather jacket and the 80s-inspired stockings (up until this image, i was against the stirrup stockings. I do wish she had tons of intentional rips in hers, however.) are totally tough while the exaggerated tiered floral print skirt (is it a dress?) and the pink tones of her scarf and bag are over-the-top girlie. This is a perfect example of the two extremes working together to produce an incredible look.

Bernhard Willhelm

Bernhard Willhelm's Winter 08-09 collection is so fantastic and bulky and anti-chic it makes me want to cry tears of joy. Culture, comfort, and eastern european childhood fantasy is oozing out of every seam.

Fashion Inspiration

Pulled from Facehunter. Socks matching shirt exactly, barely peeking out from under pants. Could socks be the most underrated accessory of all time? Must change!
