I didn't come here and I ain't leavin'

I'm calling it now... To Willie, Phosphorescent's new Willie Nelson cover album is going to be the best release of 2009.

01 "Reasons To Quit"
02 "Too Sick To Pray"
03 "Walkin'"
04 "It's Not Supposed To Be That Way"
05 "Pick Up The Tempo"
06 "I Gotta Get Drunk"
07 "Can I Sleep In Your Arms"
08 "Heartaches Of A Fool"
09 "Permanently Lonely"
10 "The Last Thing I Needed (First Thing This Morning)"
11 "The Party's Over"

To Willie is out 2/3 via Dead Oceans. It's like whiskey soaked birthdays and christmases all wrapped up in a shiny bow.

Holiday

Party

Hey guy, stab me in the heart, why don't you! This is horrible, but it is honestly the only version of this song i could find. Maybe Colin Melloy can sing it for us. His underwhelming renditions of Mr. Cooke's beautiful songs are only available at his solo shows, in CD or Vinyl. In case you were curious, the track list includes Cupid, That's Where It's At, Summertime, Good Times, and Bring It on Home to Me. (BITTER)

Sorry Dudes...

...I just don't feel like blogging these days. Don't yell at me.

Things I will eventually be blogging about:

Alyson Fox

Wavves
Parts and Labor

some DIY stuff
cheap finds
new Etsy listings
some music videos
hopefully embed my recent playlist so you all can actually hear something

For the time being, here are some really boring photos I took during my day-trip to Philly.

Is Philly always so deserted?

Good morning!

What's the first thing you want to lay eyes on
as you leave your house in the morning?
A man riding his bicycle without any pants on?
Take my word for it.
This is not the first thing you want to see.

A mistake I made last year that has only recently been realized
